Abstract:
Abstract - Open-source software and low-cost sensors bring
advantages to the robotics community, facilitating the access
to a wide range of robotic applications to virtually anyone,
and playing an important role in recent advances. In this
project a web-based robot control system interface is
designed. This interface can be used by users to control the
motion of robot, observe, and monitor the robot through PC
or mobile device. The web application is built and designed
with Html, CSS and JavaScript. This system mainly uses
robot operating system (ROS), MQTT, slam, low-cost
sensors, such as the LIDAR, zed camera, to design a full 3D
indoor Mapping system we can reach and achieve a very
good performance. ROS is used to synchronize the
communication between the nodes of the robot. The ultimate
goal of the system is to help in decreasing the infected people
in hospitals so, by making an autonomous service robot that
has the ability to serve for patients with high performance and
so, we decrease the interaction between patients and hospital
staff.
