Abstract: |
This paper will cover the design and simulation of the attitude control for small satellites (CubeSat) where the objective of this project is to design the attitude control model of the satellite and selecting its optimum components (controller & actuator) to allow the satellite to be stable in space while orbiting around the earth & controlling its orientations (yaw, bitch, roll ) to allow it to do some requirements such as imaging a certain part of the earth or controlling solar cell orientations to get maximum power from it. At this paper we assume that the required orientations & current orientations of the satellite are given & we will use suitable actuator & controller to make the current orientations equals to the required one (controlling the orientations). At this paper we will use some software’s & simulators as matlab Simulink that allows us to design and simulate the attitude control system. |
