Abstract This research Is covering The EGT Which Is short for Medium or long-range electrical Guided Torpedo whose primary purpose is to destroy Ships ,Submarines and any other Naval vehicles . This type of Torpedoes Is more effective more than now day used acquisition torpedo, because they are easier to be massively produced , maintained , and are less risky to handle. In addition to that It Is so Agile and maneuverable Due to Its battery bank Which allow them to move for very large distances With an excellent Speed to follow and track the target . We are Implementing This Torpedo to be remotely controlled by human who homes the torpedo to the desired target .Using Optical fibers Technology and laser . Current wire guided torpedoes rely upon conventional metal conductors for the communications link between the submarine and torpedo. As the range of torpedoes increases, the bandwidth of this link decreases, and the rate of data transmission drops. The use of optical fiber cables or laser technology in place of the conventional wire promises very significant increases in bandwidth and also a saving in space, since a single fiber can be used in place of the current 2 wires. |
